meet the founder
The shop is owned and operated by furniture designer Kate Duncan. originally from british columbia, Duncan moved to toronto in 2019 and hasn’t looked back.
a high-school shop teacher for well over a decade, Duncan started her eponymous brand after a life changing motorcycle accident in 2012. She now splits her time between furniture fabrication, teaching woodworking classes and taking her fluffy dog charlie to the park.

Six points is the name of the area the studio is in. There’s a six points park near by, six points street and even a six points plaza. It’s just a little nod to the neighbourhood.
